Physical Therapist - FT

About the role

We’re seeking a strategic, communicative, and compassionate physical therapist who will diagnose and treat individuals with conditions that limit their ability to move. You will work to improve patients' quality of life by alleviating pain and enhancing physical function through flexible, collaborative, and innovative treatment plans. This role involves lifting and transferring patients, as well as being on your feet throughout the day.

Caring for patients in both outpatient settings at the Woodruff Center and inpatient settings at Marshfield Medical Center - Minocqua. Schedule includes Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation of once every 6-8 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs that help patients/residents recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
• Documents patient/resident information for evaluation.
• Educates patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans, schedules, and self-exercises to continue at home.
• Demonstrates documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meets all regulatory requirements.
• Analyzes and records the therapeutic progress of patients/residents; recommends necessary adjustments.
• Follows guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety procedures in the therapy process.

Requirements

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• When applicable, may require a valid driver's license.
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

Pay

Salary range: $40.00 - $57.00 per hour. Sign-on bonus of $20,000 with a commitment.

Schedule

• Full-time position with 40 weekly hours.
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation of once every 6-8 weeks.
