About the role
FeldCare Connects is seeking a self-motivated Physical Therapist to deliver premier excellence of care in the St Petersburg area. The Physical Therapist will assess and evaluate patient care needs, determine a treatment plan, execute interventions, and monitor progress.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
- Determine and implement a treatment plan based on assessment and evaluation.
- Execute interventions aimed at improving and enhancing patient well-being.
- Maintain accurate and discreet records.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Understand the role of therapy in the context of the patient’s age, needs, and environment.
- Prepare and maintain records with accuracy and discretion.
- Recognize and modify treatment plans as needed to meet appropriate patient needs.
- Report modifications to the therapist.
Requirements
- Remarkable knowledge of physical therapy principles, theories, and methods.
- Great skills in providing a variety of treatments.
- Profound ability to communicate effectively both written and oral.
- Exceptional ability to understand the role of therapy in the context of the patient’s age, needs, and environment.
- Exceptional ability to prepare and maintain records with accuracy and discretion.
- Proven sound clinical reasoning in treating and planning, implementing, and monitoring patient progress.
- Bilingual a plus.
Qualifications
- Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
- Physical Therapist license and registration by the state.
- Completion of a Physical Therapist curriculum approved by The American Physical Therapy Association, The Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, or The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
