Physical Therapist - Float

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a flexible, full-time float role working across multiple rehabilitation locations in the Southern Finger Lakes region.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement individualized treatment programs based on Physical Therapy principles
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
• Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and adjust therapies as needed
• Administer treatments such as exercises, gait training, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
• Educate patients on proper device use and safety
• Document evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries
• Provide support and leadership to staff, and ensure safety and compliance
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain certifications

Requirements

• NY State licensure or eligibility
• Hospital experience preferred
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds independently
