About the role

The Regional Support Physical Therapist (RSPT) is a clinical float position reporting directly to the local Regional Director. You will be part of the regional center manager team and cover a defined number of centers. This role includes a separate salary scale, additional job duties, and responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
  • Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in an understandable manner and plans for discharge when skilled therapeutic care is no longer medically necessary.
  • Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
  • Facilitates professional growth, development, and overall improvement of departmental performance.
  • Performs other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration (required to start).
  • Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry-level/New Grad acceptable.

Pay

$85,000–$110,000 annually, depending on years of experience, plus up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours weekly.
