Physical Therapist- Casual

About the role

The Physical Therapist is responsible and accountable for residents’ evaluations, ongoing assessments, and the planning and implementation of therapy interventions. Develops and revises plan of care based on the residents’ needs and establishes functional goals, outcomes, and discharge plans. Plans for residents’ discharge and anticipates for long term and/or short term residents’ needs. Educates other health care team members, residents, family, and caregivers on information regarding the care plan for the residents.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and assesses residents’ physical condition and develops appropriate treatment plans.
• Plans and implements therapy interventions to improve residents’ functional abilities.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.
• Educates residents, families, and caregivers about their care plans.
• Ants for residents’ discharge and identifies long-term or short-term care needs.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Pay

• $55 an hour.

Schedule

• Casual physical therapist needed for Saturday treatments (typically a half day with flexible hours).
• Additional needs during the week.

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and patient care protocols.
