About the role
As a Physical Therapist at Sentara Therapy Center Suffolk YMCA, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs designed to improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. You will also provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers, supervise, and assume responsibility for the care provided by identified team members.

Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Level Degree in Physical Therapy
- Preferred Master's or Doctorate Level Degree in Physical Therapy
- VA License for Physical Therapy
- BLS Certification
Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Skills
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using medical software and equipment
