Physical Therapist

About the role

We are Regency Care of Rogue Valley, a skilled nursing community in Grants Pass, OR, seeking a Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will support occupational/physical therapist assistants, develop treatment goals, and provide comprehensive therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, organize, and administer physical therapy services according to current standards and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Provide training and guidance to occupational/physical therapist assistants.
• Administer therapeutic procedures and instruct patients on treatment procedures.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Contact referring physicians regarding patient care concerns.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution or a Master’s degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Prior to onboarding and ongoing possession of a current, unrestricted physical therapy license in the state of employment.

Qualifications

Must possess a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy institution or a Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.

Skills

Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, manual exercises, and patient motivation strategies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

$5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
