Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop customized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities to treat musculoskeletal issues.
  • Educate patients on proper movement techniques, injury prevention, and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current New York State Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience with manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, and orthopedic conditions preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life through movement.
