Physical Therapist
About the role
We are seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our growing team of clinicians at Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA). Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care to children with special needs, guided by our core values of compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services to children with developmental disabilities or delays, including but not limited to fine motor delays, sensory disorders, gross motor delays, speech-language delays, hearing disorders, feeding disorders, developmental delays, cognitive delays, and medical needs.
- Work closely with teachers, teachers' assistants, and other members of the treatment team to ensure that each child's needs are met.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote the child's growth and development within the home environment.
- Attend regular meetings with the treatment team to discuss progress and plan future interventions.
Requirements
- Current Arkansas license as a Physical Therapist.
- One year of successful experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
- Effective communication and professional demeanor with a wide variety of people.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with database, word processing, spreadsheet, and internet software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables in standard and non-standard situations.

Schedule
The schedule for this position will vary depending on the needs of the clinic and the individual's availability. Regular hours are typically Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.
