About the role
You'll provide compassionate, culturally grounded care to American Indian and Alaska Natives, addressing social and emotional needs that affect health. Work with a dedicated team to strengthen wellness, resilience, and community well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to American Indian and Alaska Native patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Conduct evaluations and treatments to address physical impairments and disabilities.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in at least one state.
- Experience working with American Indian and Alaska Native populations preferred.
- Cultural competency training and certification may be required.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cultural sensitivity and awareness.
