Physical Therapist

About the Role

Mercy Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive and compassionate care using the latest techniques and technologies. This position is based in our Outpatient Rehab clinic at 175 Carew Street, treating patients with varied diagnoses, including neurological and medically complex orthopedic cases.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, directs, plans, and treats patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help clients achieve maximum functional independence.
• Develops and conducts individualized treatment using a variety of techniques and modalities aligned with established goals.
• Modifies treatment plans and goals based on changes in client status and capabilities.
• Maintains appropriate communication with the treatment team, physicians, clients, and/or family members to facilitate problem-solving, program planning, and education.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current State of MA license.
• Ability to clearly explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to clients and their families.
