Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide medically prescribed physical therapy to patients with injuries or health conditions to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability.
• Evaluate participants, develop and implement individualized treatment programs, and communicate needs to staff.
• Perform re-evaluations and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, ensure compliance with standards, and participate in team meetings and training.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, families, and community resources to optimize therapy outcomes.
• Supervise PTAs and interns, and contribute to staff training and orientation.
• Write service summaries and maintain billing records.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• State licensure in physical therapy
• Preferred one year of experience
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
