About the role
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients, promoting physical and developmental rehabilitation across various care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long-term, community, and home health care. This hands-on, collaborative role involves interpreting data, applying therapeutic interventions, and coordinating care to restore function, independence, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation programs.
- Apply a wide range of therapeutic interventions tailored to patient needs.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate care plans effectively.
- Promote patient self-determination and optimize resource utilization for independence.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to meet discharge goals.
- Advocate for patients and ensure adherence to regulations and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Less than one year of physical therapy experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate preferred.
- Basic computer skills and understanding of clinical regulations.
- Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
- Strong clinical problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
