About the role
We are expanding our services in Norwalk and are looking to hire a Physical Therapist to support our patients in the local community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and plan physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases.
- Adhere to Physician recommendations and protocol related to a patient's condition.
- Work alongside a team of professionals to provide cohesive orthopaedic care to patients.
- Be on your feet all day, sometimes assisting in transporting, positioning, or holding patients when necessary.
Requirements
- Active license to practice in the state of Iowa as a Physical Therapist (or individual completing a degree in Physical Therapy with the anticipation of becoming licensed).
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate calmly and professionally to patients and physicians.
- Curiosity and the ability to listen actively, ask clarifying questions, and avoid interrupting patients.
