About the role

The physical therapist at Corewell Health provides treatments to individuals of all ages with pain or physical limitations. They evaluate and develop a treatment plan, consult with healthcare providers, and interact with patients regardless of age or culture.

Responsibilities

• Examining and evaluating patients with functional limitations and disabilities
• Developing and implementing a treatment plan
• Consulting with healthcare providers regarding a patient's continuum of care
• Interacting with patients regardless of age or culture
• Adhering to Corewell Health customer service standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Masters or Doctorate Degree preferred
• Michigan State License in Physical Therapy required
• BLS certification required

Qualifications

• Written or verbal communication skills required
• Word processing and computer skills required
• Pediatric therapists should have NDT certification and competency in serial casting
