About the role
Practice inside a Division I football stadium with genuine autonomy, teaching opportunities, and a team operating at a fellowship-level standard. New graduates train alongside clinicians who actively teach DPT students and mentor residents. Boone offers mountain-town living with college-town energy—hiking, skiing, and outdoor recreation minutes away, centered around App State’s athletics and academic culture.
Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education for return-to-sport and everyday recovery
- Treat orthopedic and sports injuries using dry needling, AlterG anti-gravity treadmill, and blood flow restriction training
- Track progress with objective outcome measures and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with a residency- and fellowship-trained team
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist (DPT), or eligible for NC licensure
- Experience or interest in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine PT
- New graduates and experienced clinicians encouraged to apply
- CPR and First Aid Certification required
