About the role

COAST Physical Therapy Specialists offers a unique opportunity for a Physical Therapist to grow in a mentorship-driven, manual-therapy-focused outpatient clinic serving Oxnard and Ventura County.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Manage a primarily orthopedic patient population including post-surgical, trauma, and sports injury cases
• Provide hands-on manual therapy and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques
• Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and long-term wellness
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the clinical team
• Participate in mentorship, case discussions, and continued clinical learning
• Treat neurological, vestibular, fall prevention, and pelvic floor patients

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree with Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or pending completion
• Eligible for or currently holding a California Physical Therapy License
• Strong interest in manual therapy and evidence-based clinical reasoning
• Passion for outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
• Eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)

Skills

• Strong interest in manual therapy techniques
• Familiarity with the Maitland (Australian) Approach, McKenzie Method, and PNF preferred
• Excellent patient communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a mentorship-focused clinical environment

Pay

Salary range: $94,000 – $118,000 DOE, with performance and loyalty bonuses available.
