Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and perform initial evaluations
• Establish and implement a treatment plan with functional and/or work-related goals
• Periodically communicate with physicians and provide appropriate discharge management
• Supervise rehabilitation aides and administrative staff as needed
• Supervise PTAs when applicable according to the appropriate state practice act
• Document all treatment and complete written communications in a timely manner
• Communicate with referral sources including physicians, PAs, ARNPs, chiros, case managers, etc.
• Participate in community services such as hosting booths at health fairs, presenting in-services, and covering special events
• Provide complimentary screenings to the public with appropriate referrals
• Communicate with physicians during patient visits and accompany patients to their visits
• Follow up with patients and staff regarding continuing education courses

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Current Professional licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Current CPR Certification

USD $73,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 Yr.
