About the Role

This position involves evaluating and treating patients with therapeutic interventions aimed at rehabilitating physical and developmental disorders. The physical therapist oversees comprehensive rehabilitation programs, promotes patient independence, and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to achieve discharge goals. The role includes interpreting clinical data, ensuring patient well-being across various care settings, and advocating for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients using diverse therapeutic techniques
• Develop and oversee individualized rehabilitation plans
• Coordinate care with other healthcare disciplines
• Promote patient self-determination and independence
• Communicate effectively to support discharge planning
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy; Doctorate preferred
• Less than one year of physical therapy experience
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of clinical rules, regulations, and growth/development principles
