Physical Therapist

Qualifications

• Licensed in New Jersey
• MS or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, progresses treatment and develops plans according to the Standards of Practice for Physical Therapists by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Maintain complete, accurate documentation and medical records in the approved departmental and professional format of the Guidelines of the APTA for Physical Therapy Documentation, and Department Policy and Procedures.
• Establish and maintain a responsible work plan.
• Demonstrates the ability to identify patient and Align PTW priorities and respond appropriately.
• Participates in and demonstrates continuing education, departmental projects, and student program according to department’s student program standard.
• Demonstrating effective teaching skills with patients/family members/caregivers and maintains the safety and care of the patient during treatment sessions.

Schedule

The schedule for this position can be flexible - 20 hours per week.
