Physical Therapist

About the role

Buckingham's Choice is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Physical Therapist position. Our beautiful, gated community is located in Adamstown, MD.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents, including evaluations, planning individual treatment programs and goals, actual treatments, discharge planning, and performing other related duties as required.
• Participate in specialized on-site training delivered during paid work hours, some sessions eligible for CEUs.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and care plans.
• Build relationships by following residents across the full continuum of care, including inpatient, home health, outpatient, and fitness services.
• Grow professionally through opportunities to provide input into programming, systems, and creative idea sharing.

Requirements

• Maintain a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Hold a valid Physical Therapist license or be eligible for licensure in the state(s) where services are rendered.
• Have experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment (preferred).

Qualifications

• Passionate about providing holistic care with a strong focus on prevention.
• Proficient in using state-of-the-art rehab gyms and equipment.
• Willing to participate in ongoing professional development and education.

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$76,385.00 - $116,149.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
