About the role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our Skilled Nursing setting, you will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, and play a direct role in helping patients return to their highest level of independence. Your caseload will be manageable, and your clinical judgment will be respected.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team (nursing, physicians, and families)
- Help patients return to their highest level of independence
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited PT program
- Current or eligible for Connecticut State PTA license
- Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay
Competitive pay based on experience, location, position, years of applicable experience, and employment type. Rate ranges include levels for per diems with no benefits and Independent Contractors.
Schedule
Flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and per diem options available.
