Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - PRN Weekends | Allen Rehab

About the role

The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy
• Participate in the further development of physical therapy services
• Be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities

Requirements

• PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current BLS certification required
• PREFERRED: Speciality certifications for Parkinson's Disease, Stroke and Vestibular
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Current PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current BLS certification required

• One year of clinical experience preferred
