Physical Therapist Assistant PTA - PRN

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at NHC Milan. This position provides physical therapy services to help patients recover from illness, injury, decline, or surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the delivery of patient care
• Perform therapeutic exercises to improve strength, balance, and confidence
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• Flexible, team player, reliable, and positive attitude
• Graduate of an APTA accredited course in Physical Therapy
• Tennessee Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
• Prior experience in skilled nursing facilities, matrix settings, and casamba environments preferred

Qualifications

• Prior SNF, Matrix, and Casamba experience a plus
