About the role
Provides hands-on physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with therapeutic exercises
- Administers treatments such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
- Works closely with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Documents patient progress and communicates with supervising PTs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in using medical equipment and technology
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
