About the role

A Physical Therapist Assistant, also known as PTA or LPTA, is a skilled licensed therapist who performs direct care under the clinical supervision of the Physical Therapist to maximize functional potential in all areas of a resident's life.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents
  • Monitor and document resident progress towards treatment goals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education to residents and their families on managing conditions and improving quality of life

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment
  • Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy

Pay

  • $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
