About the role
A Physical Therapist Assistant, also known as PTA or LPTA, is a skilled licensed therapist who performs direct care under the clinical supervision of the Physical Therapist to maximize functional potential in all areas of a resident's life.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents
- Monitor and document resident progress towards treatment goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education to residents and their families on managing conditions and improving quality of life
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy

Pay
- $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
