About the role

We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. At PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care across over 80 hospital locations nationwide. The PTA, under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will deliver direct patient care, plan and implement specific treatment programs, and contribute to the further development of our services. This role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System.
• Contribute to the further development of Physical Therapy services.
• Adapt to the needs of the system by working across different facilities as required.

Requirements

• PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Flexible schedule to suit your lifestyle and meet the needs of the system.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience preferred, though we welcome candidates with a desire and commitment to learn.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience is ideal.
