You play a vital role in strengthening your community—one patient, one home, one relationship at a time. You provide skilled, compassionate care that helps patients recover, manage chronic conditions, and live safely and independently at home.
Responsibilities
- Acts at the direction and under the supervision of the treating physical therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.
- Participates in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).
- Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.
- Affords assistance to the treating physical therapist in documenting a patient’s progress and response to treatment.
Requirements
- Current South Carolina Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license; new grads welcome!
