About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for home health visits in Davidson County and surrounding areas in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in achieving or maintaining optimal physical well-being through treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Must have current licensure or certification in the state of North Carolina.
  • Must have graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, or meet one of the following requirements:
    • Graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
    • One year of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service if initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977.
    • At least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Requirements
