Work one-on-one with patients when and where they need the most help – in their home!
As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you have the unique opportunity to make a huge difference in your patients’ lives and see firsthand how your work helps patients gain the strength and independence they need to participate in their desired daily living activities, such as going to church or working in the garden.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises and treatments to improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during sessions.
- Adapt treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
Requirements
- A Bachelor/Associate Degree from an accredited Assistant school of Physical Therapy.
- Currently licensed in state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Negative TB screen and Hepatitis consent/declination.
- Minimum one year experience in a home health setting.

- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
