Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full Time or Part Time

About the role

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is a skilled licensed therapist who performs direct care under the clinical supervision of the Physical Therapist. This position offers the option of a 4 or 5 day work schedule and part time (3 day work week) options.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of patient care plans
• Administers treatments and exercises as prescribed by the Physical Therapist
• Monitors patient progress and reports changes to the supervising PT
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient care coordination
• Documents patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of North Carolina
• Completion of an accredited PTA program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Experience with aquatic therapy preferred

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience and education
