About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for assisting physical therapists in providing patient care. Duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments under supervision
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
