About the role

Full‑time Physical Therapist Assistant joining an in‑house therapy team at AVIR at Knox City, a skilled nursing and post‑acute rehabilitation center in Knox City, TX. The PTA will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide care for patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions and help develop programs in balance, wound care, skilled maintenance, and more.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality physical therapy services to patients and residents.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
• Develop and implement therapy programs focused on balance, wound care, skilled maintenance, and other specialized areas.
• Participate in ongoing training and career development activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Texas.
• Passion for delivering excellent patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
