Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - FT Days | Orange City Rehab

The Role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care to our diverse patient population at PAM Health. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy.
• Work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assess patient conditions and progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of physical therapy services.

Requirements

• PAT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
