Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA - Consistent & General PRN

About the role

Join a passionate rehab team at Newton Care & Rehab, a supportive, collaborative senior living community. The need is for 20-30 hours per week to cover a maternity leave.

Responsibilities

• Covering physical therapy sessions under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
• Assisting patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
• Providing support during patient transfers and positioning.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• At least one year of recent relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
