Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

About the role

The Center at Lincoln is seeking compassionate PTAs to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This is a rehabilitation-focused position in a skilled nursing facility, not a long-term care setting. We offer a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff, and other related departments to plan therapy services, including patients and families.
• Aid in developing, implementing, and coordinating patient care plans for individual patients, in collaboration with the patient’s assessment.
• Prepare patients for physical therapy sessions and ensure they understand the procedures involved.
• Determine appropriate equipment usage, application, and body positions, making adjustments as needed during therapy treatments.
• Recommend modifications or changes to the patient’s therapy program based on evaluations of progress.
• Ensure all therapy notes are detailed, accurate, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Must have a current license or be license-eligible in the state of Colorado.
