Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

About the role

The Center at Lincoln is seeking compassionate PTAs to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This is a rehabilitation-focused role, not a long-term care setting. New hires may receive assistance with obtaining a license in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff, and other related departments to plan therapy services, including patients and families.
• Aid in developing, implementing, and coordinating patient care plans for individual patients, working in conjunction with the patient's assessment.
• Prepare patients for physical therapy sessions and ensure they understand the procedures involved.
• Determine appropriate equipment usage, application, and body positions, making adjustments as needed during therapy treatments.
• Recommend modifications to the patient's therapy program based on evaluations of progress.
• Ensure therapy notes are detailed, compliant with company policies, and accurately reflect the patient's condition and treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current license or be license-eligible in the state of Colorado.
