Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant under supervision, following established policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Ensures effective and timely treatments aligned with the treatment plan and physician’s orders. Maintains accurate clinical documentation, communicates effectively with the supervising therapist, and assists with scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatments efficiently in accordance with the plan of care.
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately.
• Charge patients appropriately for services rendered.
• Assist with paperwork, chart management, and clinical education of students.
• Adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Current licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Effective communication, visual acuity, and ability to work collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Associate’s degree from an accredited program.
• Preferred: Less than one year of experience.
