Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in the provision of physical therapy treatments.
  • Perform therapeutic exercises and activities under supervision.
  • Administer treatments such as manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercise.
  • Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on self-management techniques.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited APTA program.
  • Current State of Delaware Physical Therapist Assistant License (PTA).
  • CPR certification.
  • An outgoing and energetic personality.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for patient care and physical therapy.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using medical software.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
