Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in the provision of physical therapy treatments.
- Perform therapeutic exercises and activities under supervision.
- Administer treatments such as manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercise.
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and counseling on self-management techniques.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited APTA program.
- Current State of Delaware Physical Therapist Assistant License (PTA).
- CPR certification.
- An outgoing and energetic personality.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for patient care and physical therapy.
