PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT - PTA

About the role

Pate Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their team. This position offers a great opportunity to be a critical member of the patient care team and provide valuable support to patients.

Responsibilities

• Aid patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in the execution of patient evaluations and complex treatment procedures.
• Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided.
• Maintain working knowledge of and adhere to the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Code of Ethics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas required.
• Pass all pre-employment and employment verifications.
