Responsibilities
- Implement Care Plans: Execute the patient care plan developed by the Physical Therapist (PT), ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Advance Patient Progress: Facilitate patient advancement through their treatment plan, making adjustments as directed by the PT to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care, ensuring the achievement of individual goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Accredited Education - Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active Licensure - Current PTA license in the state of practice. Ethical Compliance - Adherence to Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct, as well as state and federal regulations.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Strong Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions. Flexibility and Team Collaboration - Adaptable to changing situations and committed to working seamlessly within a team environment. Exceptional Communication - Outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues. Experience with Geriatric Population - Prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs. Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations - Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
