Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Responsibilities

• Aid physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation treatments to patients
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to supervising physical therapists
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation
• Create a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
• Inform patients and family members about therapy goals, exercises, and home care techniques
• Offer compassionate, respectful, and professional care to patients

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program
• Hold a current New Hampshire PTA license or certification in good standing
• Show strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Show compassion, dependability, and a patient-focused approach to care
• Gain relevant home health experience, though not required
