Responsibilities
- Aid physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation treatments to patients
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to supervising physical therapists
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation
- Create a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
- Inform patients and family members about therapy goals, exercises, and home care techniques
- Offer compassionate, respectful, and professional care to patients
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program
- Hold a current New Hampshire PTA license or certification in good standing
- Show strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Show compassion, dependability, and a patient-focused approach to care
- Gain relevant home health experience, though not required
