About the Role
Cooney Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Helena, Montana is hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our supportive, high-performing therapy team. This position offers a modern, newly renovated facility designed for both short-term rehab, long-term care and outpatient services, caring for residents who make every day meaningful and rewarding.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide therapeutic interventions to promote functional independence and improve quality of life
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Montana (or eligible to become licensed)
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Skilled in developing individualized treatment plans
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Experience in skilled nursing/rehab preferred, but new grads are welcome too!
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
