Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their physical function
- Help patients learn how to perform daily activities with less assistance
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatments
Requirements
- Associate's degree as a physical therapist assistant from an accredited college
- Current license as a physical therapist assistant in the State of Wisconsin
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience and empathy towards patients
Skills
- Proficient in using medical equipment and technology
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
