About the role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with our Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech-Language Pathologist to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote optimal physical function, independence, and overall well-being. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping our residents achieve their rehabilitation goals, whether it's improving mobility, managing chronic conditions, or enhancing quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, as well as educational sessions for patients and families
- Use equipment, adaptive devices, and other resources to facilitate patient progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress
- Participate in in-service training and professional development opportunities
