About the role
A Physical Therapy Assistant is a skilled licensed therapist who performs direct care under the clinical supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Performs direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Assists in the development and implementation of treatment plans
- Monitors patient progress and reports to supervising Physical Therapist
- Ensures patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
Requirements
- Physical Therapy Assistant license in state of employment
- Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant
