About the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work collaboratively with our physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal rehabilitation and wellness. Your expertise and caring approach will enable our residents to live their best lives, and our Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will be an integral part of our mission to enhance the lives of everyone we touch.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for residents
  • Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and modalities, as directed by the physical therapist
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and services
  • Provide education and support to residents, family members, and caregivers regarding physical therapy treatments and wellness strategies

Requirements

  • Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree/certificate
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure in the state of Missouri
  • 1+ year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
