Overview

If you’re a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who wants to empower patients to achieve meaningful outcomes through compassionate and patient-centered therapy—this is it. In this role, you’ll provide physical therapy services to the adult/geriatric population, working closely with patients to improve independence, mobility, safety, and overall quality of life. You’ll have the opportunity to follow patient progress over time and deliver truly patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized physical therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
  • Implement patient-centered treatment plans designed to support recovery, safety, pain management, and long-term rehabilitation goals.
  • Deliver hands-on therapy interventions that enhance movement, endurance and overall quality of life for adult and geriatric patients.
  • Possess strong communication skills and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or license eligible in the state of practice.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
  • Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.
