Physical Therapist Assistant - PRN

Job Summary Provides therapeutic physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed therapist, following a written care plan to achieve treatment goals. Responsibilities include delivering treatment, participating in discharge planning, patient and family education, and communicating progress in accordance with licensure and departmental policies. May oversee clinical students, support staff, assistants, technicians, and volunteers, fostering a caring environment focused on health and healing. Performs additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Assist in treatment delivery under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.Contribute to discharge planning, including patient education and community resource referrals.Engage in initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery.Support staff and student development by assessing workload and providing guidance.Achieve assigned treatment goals. Qualifications & Skills Entry-level experience preferred.Basic skills in physical therapy techniques.Licensure as a PTA; BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
