Physical Therapist Assistant - Per Diem - Days - 8hr ICH

Job Summary

Physical Therapy Assistants provide high quality, comprehensive and patient-centered Physical Therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic procedures according to the treatment plan
• Documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources
• Handling and administration of medications according to legal guidelines
• Clinical guidance to non-licensed personnel
• Work with various healthcare team members to assure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education Requirement: N/A
• Minimum Experience Requirement: N/A
• Excellent customer service skills
• Minimum License Requirement: California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure as a PTA by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions
• BLS required
• Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH
• Annual 4 hours of Orthopedic Education required
